peach cobbler.

this isn't the first time i forget to take a picture of the actual product of my labors! this peach cobbler is super easy, especially with canned peaches. we took it over to our neighbors, & the men were literally fighting over the last bites with their teeth. sign of a successful recipe.

peach cobbler
ingredients:
3-4 cups fresh or canned peaches, sliced
1 cup + 2 tbs. sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2/3 cup butter
1 egg, slightly beaten

1. preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
2. place the peaches in the bottom of a baking dish and sprinkle with 2 tbs. sugar.
3. sift all dry ingredients into a medium-size bowl.
4. cut in the butter & beaten egg until crumbly.
5. sprinkle mixture over the peaches and bake for 30-40 minutes, until golden.
