okay, okay. this barely qualifies as a recipe. more like a good idea.
but the other morning i made these pancakes with a tad bit of almond extract in the batter, and then i chopped up some almonds, toasted them, and heated them up with some maple syrup.
and i tell you, it was good.

I have a recipe for pancakes made with almond flour, which is supposed to be amazing stuff. Haven't gone looking for it yet though. I'm sure in HI it's crazy expensive like everything else.
